Dr Thomas Pace is a postdoctoral research fellow for the Thompson Institute’s Healthy Brain Ageing Program. His research activities include experimental design, analysis, and writing journal articles. He also supervisors Psychology Honours students, and advises the team on studies using electroencephalogram (EEG).

Thomas conducted his PhD at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) in Sydney, where his research used combined methods of psychophysics and EEG to investigate the role of visual areas in mental imagery and attention.

Thomas also worked as a research assistant at the Neuroscience Research of Australia (NeuRA), working on the science of habits and cognitive flexibility, and ran a physical activity intervention for older adults with subjective cognitive decline.

Thomas completed his Bachelor of Psychology with Honours at UNSW.
